Uraninite, Uraninite Crystal in Fluorite & Thorite Crystal | Rare Mineral Display

This is the very first rare mineral display that I have curated and assembled.

The base is constructed of a solid wood in which solid brass screws were installed. The dome/base are an antique designed by Bard's. To attach the minerals, copper wire was used. The glass dome is secured with a high quality silicone gel. Non-slip pads have been affixed to the base for a solid foundation. I have included a custom label on the bottom of the base listing the rare mineral specimens included with the locales:

Uraninite: Moab, Utah, USA (included is the original certificate of authenticity for this specimen) 

Uraninite Crystal in Fluorite Matrix: Cardiff Mine, Ontario, Canada

Thorite Crystal: Mogok, Myanmar

A Certificate of Authenticity will also be included for the Moab specimen.

I will slowly be adding more of these displays over time to help fund my new mineral collecting hobby. These rare minerals were personally selected and acquired from well established collections located around the world.
