Encapsulated in a half dram glass vial is a tiny but mighty specimen of Samarskite from Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The old formula for Samarskite is:
(Y,Fe³⁺,Fe²⁺,U,Th,Ca)₂(Nb,Ta)₂O₈
The crystal is approximately 1.5 cm in length.
I've included a small wooden label with Samarskite / Minas Gerais, Brazil engraved on it. [this was included by the previous collector I purchased it from]
This is a very active specimen that reads over 2k on my Radiacode 102.
