Pyrochlore Supergroup (Betafite) | Rare Mineral Display

Encased in a glass dome with wood base is a very well-crystallized specimen of Pyrochlore Supergroup (Betafite) from the Silver Crater Mine, Ontario, Canada.

The base is constructed of a solid wood that I finished with multiple dark walnut stains and top sealant coats. The glass dome is secured with a high quality silicone gel. Non-slip pads have been affixed to the base for a solid foundation. I have included a custom label on the bottom of the base listing the rare mineral specimen included with the locales:
