This piece was created to raise awareness. There are many people out there who have either just been diagnosed, are about to go into surgery or are fighting their way through a very lengthy recovery. Every individual has their own unique set of challenges and complications pre and post-op and it's not always apparent to those of us observing from the outside. These brave warriors need all of the support they can get because much of this battle is internal. While progress may be noticed from the outside - internal recovery can be a very slow, isolating, frustrating, emotionally and physically draining experience. Patience, love and understanding to all of these brave warriors battling to regain what they have lost.
ANwarrior is shorthand for Acoustic Neuroma Warrior. This is a rare tumor that develops in a bundle of nerves near your balance organ and can lead to loss of hearing, often can impact sense of taste/smell and be associated with facial paralysis. It's severity and treatment methods range depending on individual factors and it often leads to open brain surgery for removal.
The BEAUTIFUL BRAIN comes in black & white with a glossy finish OR holographic with a matte finish. Both variations are the same size and measure: 3" by 2.6" (7.6 cm by 6.6 cm).
